Royal Panda Restaurant: Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Germantown, TN

I've been going here practically since birth. ALL the staff is so kind, personable, and they really treat you like family, regardless of your background! The food is out-of-this-world, and their homemade hot mustard is beyond superb! They have so many food options - it's so hard to choose sometimes that we'll order multiple entrees for the whole family to share! Their lunch and dinner portions are the perfect sizes, the food is always reasonably priced, and the atmosphere here is very peaceful! There aren't enough words to explain how much I LOVE eating at Royal Panda and interacting with their staff! This is definitely my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in the Germantown/Memphis area, and I order from here every time I come back to town! So far, I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant that even comes close in comparison to Royal Panda in the Nashville area! <3

I love the food here because it reminded me of home (and I ate a lot lol) You need to try the Taiwanese roast duck-crispy on the outside and tender inside! This restaurant looks like it has its history but it’s well maintained-I felt like eating at my rich uncle’s home. Haha and my boyfriend loved the food so much that he had to learn how to say “delicious” in Chinese so that he can tell the restaurant staff about it. Friendly servers and attentive services too!! We will definitely come back.

Easily accessible location wise, Ambiance was justifying the name, service was good with polite staff. The Vegetable Roll was really good, especially with the Chilli oil(in pic). Had Vegetable fried rice and Tofu with Vegetables for main course. The tofu was a bit tender for my liking…

We decided to try this restaurant simply because it was nearby, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! As someone who isn't usually a fan of Chinese cuisine, I absolutely loved everything we ordered. We tried the orange shrimp, orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, and wonton soup, and each dish was delicious. The flavors were vibrant and truly satisfying. We'll definitely be returning for more! My only minor complaint was the wait time for our food, but given how busy they were, it was understandable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Haven’t had Chinese food this good in over 20 years. We had vegetable roll, spring roll, lo mein and general Tso’s chicken. Their general Tso’s was actually thick sauced, tender but crisp and spicy. All top notch. When I rate this place 5 stars, know that I travel the country for work and am comparing them to places I’ve eaten across the country. So the flavor expectations are higher at the 5 star level for this review.

Royal Panda is the best Chinese restaurant that I found in this area. The only other Chinese restaurants that I've found comparable to Royal Panda in other parts of the USA were more expensive. The atmosphere was good but just not as outstanding as the food and service. Great food, great service, and great value!

My waiters were kind. The food was exceptionally good. I tried a new dish. The chicken was well seasoned and hot. The atmosphere was quiet and private.
